city council

I couldn't make the council meeting, but I have heard the news. If I understand correctly Brooke, Howard, Dumas, and Frick didn't even want it to go as far as it did. Does that mean they think Malin should keep the money when it clearly isn't his?
I think some of the people who spoke to the council were close to the truth in that the ones who voted for not doing anything won't get re-elected. Since the city hall and council chambers has put the city in a bad light so often I hope it can be straightened out. The rumormills are on overtime and misinformation is plentiful. These people know that the citizens who are unsatisfied with the actions of the council have little recourse. They also know they won't be held accountable until election day. Let's hope next election we get someone with professionalism and ethics to get this mess straightened out.
