Route 66, the mother road, will get it's own display at the Elmhurst Art Museum in Elmhurst, Ill. Many of us who are old enough remember taking Rte. 66 to California and marveling at the various buildings along the way. To relive your past, or learn more about it go to this link.

The Quad Cities Cruisers show is today at Southpark from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and I plan to be there for some of it anyway. I haven't seen some people for a year and I know they'll be there so I figured; what's better than cool cars and old friends?
