This is just getting crazy. In Paradise,Pennsylvania in a one-room Amish schoolhouse there's been a shooting. Early reports say several victims and a hostage situation. Rumors of 12 ambulances and more than one medical helicopter are all over CNN and MSNBC. For more on this go here.
There's also news from Las Vegas about a banned former student going into a school armed and now hiding in a nearby house. Instead of Congress having a 2 day work week, and ending early I think these guys need to get off their duff and pass some laws to stop the senseless killing of our kids.

More laws you say? Do you think more laws will stop the lawless people? Murdering students is already against the law...in any country on this blue sphere of ours. I beleive the problem goes deeper. I beleive society as a whole has lost its way. Humanitie's "moral compass" is no longer pointing true. Anything goes, what seems wrong or perverse to many, is now simply a matter of opinion. God help us!
Laws won't stop people from breaking them, they just make it harder. Something as simple as keeping all doors locked from the outside might help. I think you are right about society, especially in this country. Too many kids are raising themselves with nobody to teach them right from wrong. The adult nuts aren't helping when they charge in and kill little girls. Something has to be done, I just don't know what.
