There's a couple of events coming up that I'd like to mention. The first is a classic car auction in Greene, Ia. Austin Auto Sales is auctioning off it's entire inventory including parts. This will take place October 13, 14, 15, 2006. We bought our 40' Plymouth off Jim and it's a shame to see him go out of business. For more information you can go here.
Another interesting event is the Hunnert Car Pileup in Morris, Ill., on October 14, 2006. This is a different show where if you have billet on your car you will be turned away at the gate. For more info
go here. This show has old farts with traditional rods and kids with punk hair cuts and tattoos, mix that with rockabilly music and open headers and you get an idea what it's like.
There's also the swap meet at Hawkeye Downs in Cedar Rapids this week-end and if I find out more about it I will post the information
