I changed things around a bit, and added a few things. It's as new to me as it is to you, but I think it'll work. As usual I'll try to have a variety of topics, but come summer there will be more postings about car events. You can email me at cruisaholic@hotmail.com Keep the shiny side up!

flying eyeball car

This car was in the Hemming's newsletter and the guy is looking for anyone with information on it. The text from the newsletter follows-

FORD: 1948 The Flyin' Eye Bonneville Salt Flat or Lakes type racer was discovered buried under boxes in a garage as part of a Phoenix estate twenty years ago. It is powered by a 1948 Mercury flathead, and the body is fiberglass. At the very front is a Von Dutch style eyeball with wings and the number 57 is on the tail. I am searching for any history or information that someone might have on this car. The car is currently stored in Los Angeles. Contact Bob Luther in Virginia. Contact: (703) 966-0122 or email BobLuther@CountyWebsite.com , VA
