I changed things around a bit, and added a few things. It's as new to me as it is to you, but I think it'll work. As usual I'll try to have a variety of topics, but come summer there will be more postings about car events. You can email me at cruisaholic@hotmail.com Keep the shiny side up!

Haunted places

Well I found another list Davenport is on. Cedar Rapids is listed 9 times, Des Moines is listed 8 times, and Davenport is listed 6 times. The list involves places like City Hall, the Police Station, two colleges, and the Masonic Temple. It's the list of haunted places. While this list goes by state, we're on it. Go to the website. For the Illinois side of the river go to that site Or for the list of all the states go to
the national site.

Back to cars for a moment, if you were wondering what happened to Northern Rodder magazine, and if they were going to host any more events, they are back. They combined with Souther Rodder and are now putting out American Street Rodder, which is Nationwide instead of regional. If you miss the Nationals they used to hold at the fairgrounds, or just want to check it out try going to their site.

That's a neat list to be on!

It's a harmless list anyway. Just figured I'd shoot for a little fun again.

When they mention the Police Department bell tower; is there anybody else who remembers where they're talking about? I'm old enough to remember so I figure I can't be the only one.

Nope, I don't remember! I was trying to figure out where that would be and was going to drive by when I was downtown tomorrow. So, is there no bell tower anymore?

The bell tower is still there. It's still on top of City Hall. That's where the police station used to be.
