Just a few odds and ends I've been holding on to for a while. The car in the picture is the Holden Effigy concept car.
Bonneville world finals were cancelled this year, the weather just wouldn't cooperate. For more go to the story.
Liz Miles isn't a household name yet, but I have a feeling if she keeps up her current pace she will be. This 21 year old woman built her Camaro for racing. When I say built; I mean engine, chassis fabrication, welding, bodywork, and paint. Go to
Miles Racing to see why she's been in Hot Rod, Good Guys Gazette, and other publications.
Lastly, Monday, November 20th., at 6 p.m., Bill Lynn will have another 5th ward meeting. It will be held at the Rogalski Center, St. Ambrose College, on Lombard Street between Ripley and Scott Streets. I'm going to try to make this one. Anything else going on, or bugging anyone?
Addendum-
Alderman Lynn's website, if you want more infor is at ProfBillLynn.com
I changed things around a bit, and added a few things. It's as new to me as it is to you, but I think it'll work. As usual I'll try to have a variety of topics, but come summer there will be more postings about car events. You can email me at cruisaholic@hotmail.com Keep the shiny side up!

Ask him how the fire department is coming with the NEO. Heard that after 6mo. the NEO has fallen behind on all aspects of their job. What have these people been doing for the last 6 months? Who are doing the inspections and when are the inspection going to start? Who is doing the enviromentals because my neighborhood looks crappy. Then ask him if he is running for mayor.
Don't foget to remind him that sending the Neo to the fire department was his idea!!!
I missed the meeting so I'm not sure what's going on. I also think they made a mistake getting rid of the inspectors. If I remember right the natives were restless over the Mike Loos non-issue. The QCRPA may be happy, but they're among the few that are.
