Someone recently asked me about a breakdown for income, like the one I for ethnicity. I found something that may help.
First off the breakdown on population-
City Residents
1980: 103,264
1990: 95,333
2000: 98,359
2003 estimate: 97,512
Percent change, 1990–2000: 2.8%
U.S. rank in 1990: 212th
U.S. rank in 2000: 267th
Now the breakdown of income-
Number of households with income of . . .
less than $10,000: 4,056
$10,000 to $14,999: 2,697
$15,000 to $24,999: 5,998
$25,000 to $34,999: 5,756
$35,000 to $49,999: 6,742
$50,000 to $74,999: 7,911
$75,000 to $99,999: 3,565
$100,000 to $149,999: 1,799
$150,000 to $199,999: 350
$200,000 or more: 364
Percent of families below poverty level: 10.5% (61.5% of which were female householder families with related children under 5 years)
On the ethnicity, I found this-
Davenport compared to Iowa state average:
Black race population percentage significantly above state average.
Hispanic race population percentage significantly above state average.
Median age below state average.
All these figures where taken from data on the city-data website to see more go to
Davenport data.
I changed things around a bit, and added a few things. It's as new to me as it is to you, but I think it'll work. As usual I'll try to have a variety of topics, but come summer there will be more postings about car events. You can email me at cruisaholic@hotmail.com Keep the shiny side up!

So what is your point?
I think this will prove we have a higher percentage on low income people living here. It has been said that low income equals crime. As I said at the beginning of the post, someone asked for the information. Tomorrow I will post something that should tie everything together.
