Southpark cruise

We ventured over to the cruise-in at Southpark tonight and as usual I forgot the camera. Other than that it was great. You could just about feel the cruising season winding down. Everywhere we looked there where old friends getting together one last time before the cars get stored away. The thing about this hobby is a 17 year old can talk one on one with an 80 year old. Even the power parkers who usually have a sea of lawn chairs out to save a spot for their late arriving buddies where at a minimum. As usual one car caught my eye, and it was a dandy. A light green 29' Model A roadster with a flathead V-8 was absolutely perfect. It looked like it sat in a garage since 1950 until yesterday. With the full race flathead and quick change rear end it really sounded sweet. Next time maybe I'll remember my camera and get some pictures, or at least remember to take my truck.
