Jeff Gordon win

Sunday's Nascar race at Chicago Speedway was a great race until it came down to 4 laps to go. When Jeff Gordon hit and spun Matt Kenseth to take the lead I walked away. Being competitve is one thing but I have always felt if you want to claim victory, be the best. By hitting Kenseth's car Gordon proved to me he wasn't a better racer, just a greedier one. He couldn't win the race without taking out the leader. If he really was a better driver with a faster car he could have drove around Kenseth instead of ramming him like he did. I feel Nascar was not severe enough with the penalties against Gordon and should have came down harder on him. For more on the story go here.

Even though my driver, Stewart, has done the same thing, I'm with you! Kenseth should have won that race, and Gordon is getting away with turning a race into a smash-em-up-derby.

Nascar had the big pre-race talk to the drivers about getting tougher on infractions, looks like it just talk.

I don't know if you noticed, but that hit and run win by Gordon moved him up two slots to #10. If he can hold that, he'll be in the chase.

Wonder if he was thinking about that at the time.

He had to be, since Earnhardt is in the middle for the chase. Now he has to keep up his dirty work to stay in the running. When Earnhardt said shit during an interview Nascar fined him $10,000 and points. I think Gordon got off real easy. And also if Kenseth would have won the race he would have been first in points.
