The council meetings over, public safety is safe, and the Queen of Denial is mad. I'm sure glad she told her version of the truth to the Times. I laughed so hard coffee shot out my nose. Of course we know this can only mean one thing; they want to redo the Freight House for Davenport1. The Queen and the Tuna will let things settle down a bit before they get together with Malin to do their planning. Malin wants it, Howard wants it, and Davenport1 really wants it.
If tonights meeting was any indication, that dude who got $175 and hour to teach these clowns to play together failed.
With the party-like atmosphere of tonights meeting I almost thought Brooke was still Mayor. Mr. Ed handled it pretty well though. If we can get these people to play together without a baby-sitter we might make it through this term without too much fiscal damage.
Please remember Howard's statement on her version of the truth next time she brings up how spending $2+ million on the Freight House will bring in $58 million in investments downtown. On the off chance you fall for that, I have a couple acres of swamp land with a view of New Orleans where I have a salt water frog farm that I would let go pretty cheap.
