I changed things around a bit, and added a few things. It's as new to me as it is to you, but I think it'll work. As usual I'll try to have a variety of topics, but come summer there will be more postings about car events. You can email me at cruisaholic@hotmail.com Keep the shiny side up!

Our responsiblity to the future
After this recent vehicle fire and child's death, it seems we need to ponder our responsibility to our children. Being a baby-boomer, I was taught you always put the kids first. If you go out, you hire a babysitter; if you take them along, you watch them. I believe children are our number one resource. They are our future and we should cherish every moment we have with them and not take this responsibility lightly. As a parent who lost a child to a car crash, I cannot tell you how devastating it is to answer the door and have a policeman deliver that news. As the years past the hurt lessens, the fond memories remain, and there's always the "what if?" in the back of your mind. If you have children please hug them and tell them you love them everyday. If we are role models to our children and set good examples on how to live life, we are richer than anyone. To the parents, you have our sympathy, and we do know how you feel.
